Our professionally equipped Workshop can cope with everything from routine servicing, MOT’s and minor repairs to more demanding repair work, such as engine overhauls and gearbox replacements. We can cater for most makes of vehicle & have the expertise and equipment to deal with your problem as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Typical Full Service Schedule

1. Driving Vehicle Into Workshop.

a) Check operation of instruments, gauges warning/control lights & horn.

b) Check operation of clutch. Adjust if necessary.

c) Check operation of washers & wipers. Adjust if necessary.

2. Inside The Vehicle.

a) Check operation & condition of exterior & respective control lights & instrument cluster illumination.

b) Check handbrake operation. Adjust if necessary.

c) Reset service interval indicator if necessary.

d) Check the operation & condition of seat belts.

e) Check security of interior mirror.

f) Clean interior of windscreen.

3. Outside The Vehicle.

a) Check operation of door check straps, lubricate as necessary.

b) Check operation of bonnet latch, safety catch & hinges, lubricate as necessary.

c) Clean & lubricate radio aerial mechanism

4. Under The Bonnet.

a) Replace spark plugs (at specified interval)

b) Renew induction air filter (including crank case emission filter pad, where applicable)

c) Check & adjust valve clearances (When applicable)

d) Check operation of engine compartment lamp (where present).

e) Check wiring, pipes, hoses, oil & fuel feed lines for routing, damage, chafing & leaks etc. (where visible).

f) Check engine, Vacuum pump, heater & radiator for damage & leaks (where visible).

g) Check condition of auxiliary drive belts, adjust tension as necessary.

h) Check antifreeze concentration percentage in coolant.

i) Check/top up fluid levels of coolant expansion tank, power steering fluid, washer reservoirs & battery, as necessary. (In case of abnormal fluid loss an additional charge may be made to investigate & rectify)

j) Clean & grease battery terminals (where applicable, check & top up electrolyte levels)

k) Renew pollen filter (where applicable, more often in polluted conditions)

5. Under The Vehicle.

a) Drain engine oil & renew oil filter

b) Check steering, suspension linkages, ball joints, driveshaft (gaitors etc.) & propshaft joints.

c) Check engine, transmission, rear axle & transfer box for damage & leaks.

d) Check pipes, hoses, oil & fuel feed lines & exhaust for routing, damage, chafing & leaks (where visible)

e) Check the general condition of the underbody & PVC coated lower panels.

f) Check wear & condition of tyres.

g) Renew fuel filter (where applicable)

h) With wheels & drums off, check brake pads, discs & linings & check brake cylinders & drums for condition; check rubber components for deterioration. Lubricate & free off all moving parts & adjust for maximum efficiency

6. Outside The Vehicle.

a) Refill engine oil.

b) Check & top up brake fluid level (In case of abnormal fluid loss an additional charge may be made to investigate & rectify).

c) Check & adjust tyre pressures (noting & reporting any unusual readings) including spare tyre.
